Research and Innovation
As the Project Assistant for the Research and Innovation (R&I) division, Ola’s role involves creating and maintaining a user manual for the Research and Innovation customer relationship management (CRM) system. Her responsibilities also include reviewing and updating internal R&I processes to ensure efficiency and compliance, while providing operational support.
Ola will also work on the development of Data Management Plan (DMP) tools and guidelines resource documents, including glossaries, tips and tricks, FAQs, and other materials, into a well-organized resource library. She is to ensure that communications specific to Research Data Management (RDM) reach the appropriate audience. Working closely with Innovation Centre leaders, she documents and finalizes current RDM best practices while developing internal processes to maintain and improve these standards. Additionally, she researches existing RDM training materials and supports the creation of tailored training sessions for R&I staff.
Ola is an internationally trained administrative professional with more than 7 years of experience in providing organizational and operational support. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and an Administration Certificate from Sheridan College. She has a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in diverse work environments, including a strong aptitude for research and data management.
